Part of the Aman resorts exclusive holiday spots, Amanjiwo (meaning peaceful soul) is a luxury resort located in a tranquil area of Central Java, Indonesia, set against the backdrop of terrific mountain, rice terraces and hills. This spectacular resort, which is built out of the local limestone (paras yogya) and provided the opportunity for immersion of Javanese culture, exudes grandeur, serenity and majestic appeal. Voted number three as South East Asia's Best Resort, Amanjiwo has a magnificent palatial temple design and surrounded by peaceful and quiet nature overlooking the breathtaking Candi Borobudur, an ancient monument and the world's largest Buddhist sanctuary in the world.
